Hi, I'm Leah. I'm So Grateful You're here!
I’m a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and writer. I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember.
In first grade, I turned open the page of a green spiral notebook and proudly wrote, “I love trees.” My accompanying illustration left much to be desired (picture a stick figure Leah next to a brown and green blob that didn’t resemble a tree…), but I’ve stuck with words for the rest of my life.
I earned my B.A. in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin: Madison, and immediately after college, I got married to my own happily ever after. We moved out East where he began his career in the Marine Corps, and I started a personal blog to share our adventures with family and friends back home.
Now, we live “back home” with our five children. Our life is loud and full, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. I work full-time as a mom, and I have nearly a decade of experience as a content marketer.
I write closed door, small town romance novels and cozy mysteries these days, and I’m thrilled to share my books with you.
Words, to me, will always have power. Power to inspire, to change, and to heal. I craft stories filled with heart and home and hope and happy endings. I hope you love them as much as I do!
Other things I love? Jesus, my husband, and our kids.
I love sitting in a quiet church, journaling my thoughts and prayers. I love curling up with a good book and a piping hot mug of hot chocolate. My favorite titles range from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen to Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
I love family walks around the block and seeing the world through the eyes of my children.
I’m a Wisconsin girl, through and through. I love the smell of summer, snow-covered trees, crunchy autumn leaves, and the hope springtime brings.
